1st Day Vigo-Pontevedra

Transfer from the airport to Sanxenxo, one of the most popular towns in Galicia located in the Rías Baixas.

Accommodation will be at the hotel Carlos I ****, located on the beach, where we will enjoy a welcome dinner with a Welcome Pack.

2nd Day Pontevedra-Armenteira

1st Stage – The Way of St. James

Visit the city of Pontevedra, also known as the City of Bridges.

We will stroll through the historic center, visiting the monuments of a city that combines history, culture, and a friendly atmosphere.

Afterwards, we will travel from Pilgrim's Square to Combarro by car and visit this unique fishing port, where we will enjoy a meal in a very special place.

In the afternoon, we will walk up to the Monastery of Armenteira, a building steeped in history since 1162.

Visit the monastery and return to the hotel.

3rd Day Armenteira-Ribadumia

2nd Stage – The Way of St. James

We start a route from the amazing Monastery of Santa Maria de Armenteira. The path runs along the river, with mills and stones that give the route its name. As you enter, you will begin to enjoy more than 30 mills distributed along the way.

Lunch in Ribadumia.

In the afternoon, we will visit a typical Albariño wine cellar in Galicia.

Then we head to the town hall of Barro for 3 hours of Pickleball instruction.

4th Day Vilanova- Santiago

3rd Stage – The Way of St. James

We leave by boat, sailing along the Arousa estuary and up the Ulla River. Along the way, we will see the only fluvial-maritime Way of the Cross in the world, a collection of 17 crosses marking the Apostle's route to Padrón.

Upon arriving in Padrón, we will take vehicles to the Escravitude Sanctuary. From there, we continue the route, enjoying the valleys of Padrón and magnificent views of the lands of Amaía. We descend to A Angueira de Suso to reach the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

We arrive at Plaza del Obradoiro, home to several historic buildings and the imposing cathedral of Santiago, where we can visit and give the famous embrace to the Apostle. We will also explore the Pórtico de la Gloria and surrounding squares. If possible, we will go up to the cathedral roofs and visit the historic center.

5th Day Pontevedra-Sanxenxo

Visit the first Pickleball courts in Galicia at the Sagrado Corazón de Placeres School.

Tour the school, which is over 100 years old.

Then enjoy 3 hours of Pickleball with instruction.

Free afternoon to explore the town of Sanxenxo, stroll along the promenade, relax on the beach, enjoy an ice cream, or unwind in the hotel’s wonderful spa.

6th Day A Coruña

We will start at Obelisco Square, walking through the old town to the majestic Plaza de María Pita, where you can admire the impressive Casa Consistorial.

We will then leave the old town to explore the gardens of the Real Maestranza and head towards the Castle of San Antón. From there, we descend to the promenade leading to the Tower of Hercules, a route of great beauty offering panoramic views of the Atlantic coast. We will stop at the only Roman lighthouse in the world still in operation, with the option to climb to the top.

Next, we will visit the city’s most iconic beaches, Orzán and Riazor, where we will enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, we will visit MEGA, the Estrella Galicia Museum, the only one of its kind in Spain, located in A Coruña.

To finish the day, we will enjoy a Pickleball session.

7th Day Baiona-Portugal

Baiona – Oia – A Guardia – Portugal

In the morning, we will visit Baiona, a fishing and tourist town with a rich historical and cultural heritage.

We will stroll through the streets of the old town and arrive at the port to see the replica of the Caravela Pinta, the ship that crossed the Atlantic with Christopher Columbus in 1492. From there, we will visit the Monterreal Fortress, a landmark of the town, located on a small peninsula and walled since the second century.

Leaving Baiona, we will stop at Cape Sieiro to see the military batteries and the lighthouse that bears its name.

Next, we head to the Monastery of St. Mary of Oia, uniquely integrated into the coastal landscape and declared a National Monument.

From here, we will continue to La Guardia for lunch.

In the afternoon, we will visit Mount Sta. Tecla, one of the most spectacular landscapes in Spain, where we can see petroglyphs and Celtic forts over 2,000 years old.

Finally, we will go to Valença in Portugal, where we can explore the fortress, shop, and pick up souvenirs.

8th Day O Grove-Meis

In the morning, we will visit the most important beaches of the Rías Baixas: La Lanzada and San Vicente, where we will walk along the Pedras Negras route.

We will return for a seafood lunch overlooking La Lanzada beach.

In the afternoon, we will travel to Meis for 3 hours of Pickleball with instruction.

To finish the day, we will enjoy a dinner accompanied by a traditional Galician queimada, where we will symbolically eliminate evil spirits through fire. This will take place in a typical Galician rural house, as the final celebration of the trip.
